Her background in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has been the foundation for her career, and she currently works as a Contracting Consultant for Hennepin County, providing resources and support to small businesses and nonprofits navigating government contracting. A budding entrepreneur and founder of Polished Pen Writing and Consulting, Watchen utilizes her writing skills to empower women in advancing their careers and businesses through resume and grant writing services.
