Sharon Ogata

Sharon Ogata is a dynamic relationship builder, meticulous planner, and proactive doer dedicated to fostering positive change within her community. With a fervent passion for social change and community engagement, Sharon actively seeks opportunities to make a difference. Currently, she serves as a mentor for Minds Matter, a non-profit organization focused on empowering low-income and first-generation high school students through mentorship and educational opportunities.

A proud alumna of UMN Twin Cities, Sharon's commitment to leadership and community involvement was evident during her time at university, notably through her active participation in the Black Student Union, where she served as Vice President and President, respectively. In 2018, Sharon became a cherished member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, where she upholds the values of sisterhood and service with pride.

Post-graduation, Sharon craved a sense of belonging and community. She found her home with ISWB, an organization that immediately resonated with her. Since her first encounter with ISWB, Sharon has felt a deep calling to contribute to the organization's mission and be an integral part of its growth and impact ever since.

Professionally, Sharon thrives in the marketing realm, leveraging her skills and creativity as part of the team at Sigma Beauty, a renowned cosmetics company. With her unwavering dedication to the community, Sharon seamlessly combines her professional prowess with her passion for social change, making her a formidable force for positive transformation in both her personal and professional spheres.
