Arshia Hussain is an emerging philanthropic & non-profit leader currently serving as the Advancement Manager at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota.
She earned a Master’s of Public Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and holds a Bachelors of Science in Sociology. Her interest in public policy and community organizing started when she saw the wicked problems of our society disproportionately affecting marginalized communities.
Through her participation in academia, civic engagement, and philanthropic development, Arshia works to make big changes in the communities that she is a part of. This means dismantling systems of oppression like patriarchy, sexism, and islamophobia.
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her cat, family & friends, and traveling the world.
